Daily Prayer

I am sorry to say that over the period of intensive assignments and exams that this offering of “Daily Prayer’s” was not kept up.  It has been a wonderful exercise for me in having to write out a prayer every day that is not just my own, sometimes self-focussed, prayer but something that connects with us all.  As I return to the practice of blogging I don’t feel that this is a goal I wish to set myself again at this time… However I am open to hearing from those of you who read this blog, either regularly or less frequently, as to what content you most come to this blog for… let me know what your favourite posts are and I will with you explore where my writing niche is… God Bless You – have a great year…

I have found in my own life a lack of contemporary resources to help us to join together in prayer, especially on social issues which effect us on a daily basis.  With this in mind I offer a daily prayer which I invite you to join me in praying, for ourselves, each other and the world.  I will post them at the same time every day which will occur in the night for Australians (ready for the next morning), for those in other parts of the world it will obviously land at different times for you but I endeavour to make it a regular time.  Join me in praying these prayers and if you feel like you can’t pray them then please let me know – I hope to make them as theologically accessible for as many Christians as possible.
